CineMapper Ltd (“CineMapper,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. This DMCA Policy outlines our process for handling copyright infringement claims under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable copyright laws.
1. Copyrighted Content on CineMapper
CineMapper features film-related content, including:
• Film trailers
• Film posters
• Film scene pictures
Some content is hosted directly on CineMapper, while other materials are sourced from The Movie Database (TMDb), YouTube, official production company press releases, and other external sources.
If you believe your copyrighted content is being used on CineMapper without permission, you may submit a DMCA takedown request following the instructions below.
2. How to File a Copyright Complaint
If you are the copyright owner (or an authorized representative), you may send a DMCA takedown request to [email protected] with the following details:
1. Your Contact Information:
• Full name
• Company (if applicable)
• Email address
2. Proof of Ownership:
• A statement confirming you own the copyrighted content or are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
3. Identification of the Infringing Content:

4. A Statement of Good Faith:
• “I have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.”
5. A Statement of Accuracy (under penalty of perjury):
• “The information in this notice is accurate, and I am the owner of, or authorized to act on behalf of, the copyright owner.”

3. Review & Content Removal Process
• Upon receiving a valid DMCA takedown notice, CineMapper will review the claim before taking action.
• If the claim is legitimate, we may remove or restrict access to the content.
• We will notify the user or content provider regarding the takedown and give them an opportunity to respond.
3b. Counter-Notification (Appealing a Removal) – Best Practice
If a user believes their content was removed in error, they may submit a counter-notification to [email protected] with the following:
1. Contact Information (Full Name, Email)
2. Identification of the Removed Content (URLs or descriptions)
3. A Statement of Good Faith:
• “I have a good faith belief that the content was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification.”
4. Consent to Legal Process (if applicable):
• “I consent to the jurisdiction of the UK courts for disputes related to this matter.”
5. Your Signature (physical or electronic).
If a counter-notification is received, CineMapper may restore the content unless the original complainant initiates legal action within 10 business days.
4. Repeat Offenders & User Responsibilities
• CineMapper does not require users to confirm ownership of submitted content but requests them to provide the original source when applicable.
• We will review copyright violations on a case-by-case basis and take appropriate action, which may include content removal, warnings, or account suspension for repeat offenders.
